TAMWORTH ARTIST GALLERY – JAMIE

Jamie has been with us at the studio for 2 years, starting as an apprentice in 2020, after studying fine art at university and working as a freelance illustrator. Within this time he has gone from apprentice with no prior experience in tattooing, to a fully fledged artist with his own unique take on classic art styles. Working primarily in black and grey, Jamie specialises in more illustrative pieces and fine line work, with a particular interest in portraiture, botanicals and the macabre. His style of tattooing also lends itself to manga/anime pieces, making him the perfect choice for manga panels and video game characters. In his spare time; apart from annoying his colleagues, Jamie likes to play video games and create art using multiple medias. Easy to get on with, Jamie is more than happy to talk to anybody and get a conversation going!
